The Raspberry Pi (Pi) is a small and powerful computer that is taking education by storm. The Pi is a capable machine for exploring coding and physical computing, or the use of input and output with sensors, motors, and LEDs. The Pi is a natural platform for the Python coding language, and this workshop will introduce the attendees to getting started with Python on the Pi. This session will supply attendees with the Pi and get them hands-on building and coding. No experience is necessary, and the session is designed to deliver an accessible learning progression for the classroom.
