The Micro:Bit is a small, inexpensive programmable microcontroller. This hands-on session will give participants a look at using the Micro:Bit to engage computational thinking as well as computational concepts, including input and output, digital and analog signals, program flow, variable declaration and use, and communication in the digital realm. This is a BYOD session, and attendees will be able to experience programming the Micro:Bit on their own device. This workshop is aimed at a broad range of learners from elementary through high school. Micro:bits will be provided for the session, and no experience is assumed.
