Game-based learning promotes creativity, imagination, and cognitive, social, and emotional development. The combination of technology and game-based learning is a powerful tool that can be used by all teachers across all grade levels and subjects. Participants in this dynamic presentation will learn how to combine different cutting-edge technologies in their classroom in order to create gamified STEAM projects within the content areas. The presenter will illustrate how to incorporate coding within the content areas, will show how students can create digital books that illustrate their coding knowledge, and will showcase the most robust 21st century assessment applications that teachers can use to evaluate their students' knowledge on these STEAM projects.
