Highly engaged students are students who learn best, but keeping students consistently engaged can be difficult. It is hard to improve engagement without measuring engagement, and there are few tools that measure student engagement efficiently. To solve this problem, The Wellington School has developed an innovative methodology: The Wellington Engagement Index. This Index defines engagement as the phenomenon of a student finding their work deeply challenging, and loving the experience. This means that students not only do their best work, but are always hungry for more. 18 charter, public, and independent schools have joined us in measuring engagement — learn from the Wellington Head of School, Rob Brisk, how in mere minutes we accumulate this incredible data.
