Tracks: Future of EdTech Early Learning
This session will present ways to integrate coding into literacy instruction for pre-kindergarten to first grade learners. Ways to purposefully implement coding alongside reading and writing workshop will be shared. From using mentor texts to spark creative problem solving to using coding as a revision strategy, this session will detail ways that coding can be a powerful tool to enhance and deepen literacy instruction. Participants will leave the session with numerous ways to immediately begin adding coding into their language arts instruction.
