It's not enough to wrap graphics and fancy visualizations around data and deliver them in a slick package. All data has a voice. Someone must extrapolate meaning from the data — and then transform this meaning into a compelling story that moves people to shift their thinking or change their behavior. This hands-on workshop will have you developing a story around data to share on the spot with other attendees.
Workshop Objectives:
- Craft an effective business value or need questions to drive useful data collection.
- Identify the contextual questions that need to be asked to transform data into information, knowledge, understanding and wisdom to improve how you analyze data and report on it.
- Explain the three types of stories that may be resident within a set of data and the various outcomes and conversations they spark with others.
