Utilizing a Blended Learning Model for Professional Learning (Room Booth 2405)

We do what we know and have experienced! In order to personalize learning for students using blended learning strategies, faculty need personalized professional learning to access the technological and best instructional practices to facilitate student engagement in a center based, station rotation, or individualized rotation learning environment. Professional development for faculty should model effective blended learning strategies for students. Faculty can learn new content and/or strategies through a blended learning model themselves, therefore covering two things at once. This session will demonstrate blended learning strategies as a catalyst for innovative professional learning so that districts can overlay facilitation of learning new content with a blended learning model.
