The papers in this session examine the integration of Distributed Energy Resources in wholesale and distributed level markets. Speakers from the UK, the Czech Republic and MISO will present a variety of considerations for DER market participation including the benefits they bring to system in terms of flexibility and Volt/Var control, and the challenges needed to overcome their inclusion in these markets.
