It will focus on the initiatives of National Grid relating to the installation of its first utility-owned energy storage system in 2018 at a distribution substation in upstate New York, as well as the lessons for energy storage from over a decade of NYC distributed generation project development, and how those lessons contributed to the business model that was selected by Con Edison.
