This important community safety session will cover the history of the current opioid crisis, the contributing factors and well as the impact on society. You'll learn about the medical background of addiction and the stigma surrounding it. The trainer will share information about how to recognize an overdose, explain how naloxone works and illustrate how to use the medication. You'll leave with resources to plan this same safety session at your venue or organization.
