Strengthen your safety management system and culture, increase employee involvement, and build safety leadership capacity through establishing high-functioning safety teams or transforming existing safety committees into action-oriented, purposeful safety teams. This workshop will provide you with concepts, best practices and practical tools that will help transform lackluster safety committees into safety teams that facilitate meaningful workforce involvement – resulting in continuous, sustained and measureable improvements to your organization’s safety management system. We’ll define characteristics of effective safety teams, and discuss building your team, running meetings, developing serviceable safety team communication skills, and creating and managing SMART action plans that will have real impact in your organization.
