This presentation will discuss sacroiliac (SI) joint pathology as it relates to chronic LBP and post-lumbar fusion. Chronic SI joint dysfunction is highly burdensome yet underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed in part due to the lack of condition awareness and education on the differential diagnosis. Attendees will be educated on SI joint pathology prevalence, burden of disease, diagnosis, and available treatments with a focus on minimally invasive surgical (MIS) SI joint fusion and its clinical effectiveness, safety, and economic benefits.
