Tracks: Future of EdTech Information Technology

Virtual reality unlocks new realms of possibility in schools. VR is an immersive 3D simulation tool that provides an alternative approach to abstract problems, making them visual and more approachable. It has many benefits, from encouraging spatial thinking to promoting complex problem-solving to building dynamic storytelling skills. VR lets students and educators create learning environments that stretch the imagination and drive the curriculum forward with engagement and active agency. In this session, school IT leaders will discover the kinds of IT roles that are essential for launching successful VR programs, onboarding teachers and students, and supporting VR in the classroom. Together we will explore the latest VR trends, see what's happening in schools around the world, and discover how school IT is a critical factor in your school's VR experiences successfully coming to life.
