Technology has transformed our lives and our schools. How can we as educators and leaders harness all the power technology has to offer and leverage what matters most, student engagement? The answer to this question can be found in the library! Research shows, schools with strong libraries have successful students. This session will be a dynamic and quick-paced, Ignite-style, presentation given by a team of instructional coaches, classroom teachers, district and building administrators, and school and public librarians. Eight presenters in all, each with a unique perspective on the power of technology, libraries, and student engagement. Centered around libraries and using the Future Ready framework as our guide, we will share our own experiences and best practices for collaboration across departments and the wider community to ensure students are active, engaged, and future ready.
