Experience the concept of Breakout EDU with a technology twist. Join in digital challenges to unlock each piece of the mystery to break out of the professional development norm while learning augmented and virtual reality tools. You’ll learn different ways to approach professional development and learn augmented and virtual reality resources in the process. The workshop will begin with a brief introduction to the Breakout EDU concept and why students love to learn this way. A preset device with directions will be available for each challenge. The challenges will require teams of participants to problem-solve, work together and think outside the box. The first team to break out of the PD norm will solve the mystery. Each answer will be the unlocking code for the next iPad. The compilation of all the answers is the final code to unlock the Nearpod VR lesson.
