State auditors, working alongside the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), can play a key role in ensuring that Medicaid dollars are being properly spent. Representatives from CMS, the Government Accountability Office and state auditors will discuss the ways that the state and federal sectors are pooling their knowledge and resources to improve payment integrity.
