Tracks: Embedded Security - Quantum Age

Speaker(s): Sylvain Guilley
The semiconductor industry is undergoing a fundamental transformation—from monolithic SoCs to modular, chiplet-based architectures—driven by the need for scalable performance, optimized yields, and cross-foundry integration. However, this distributed design paradigm brings new and pressing security challenges. As chiplets from multiple sources are combined into a single package, ensuring long-term trust and resilience becomes a critical design requirement—especially in the face of emerging quantum threats.
This session will explore how to embed security into the heart of chiplet-based architectures, from design and integration to system-level validation. Using a recent case study—the successful tapeout of the industry’s first Arm-based system chiplet by Cadence, where Secure-IC provided the integrated security IP— we will demonstrate how PQC-ready mechanisms secure communication, authentication, and lifecycle management across chiplets. In addition, we will discuss how PQC complements foundational protections such as cryptographic trust propagation, secure boot, and remote attestation, creating a robust framework for future-proof security.
Join Prof. Sylvain Guilley, CTO and Co-Founder of Secure-IC, to learn how to build secure multi-chiplet SoCs that are future-proof, standards-compliant, and resilient by design—meeting the growing security demands of automotive, AI, and cloud infrastructure applications.
