High-quality data at the state level are directly affected by the quality of data reported at the local level. Join us for some advice about how to build strong and effective local data teams that can have a direct impact on improving local data quality. Participants will engage in discussion and practical activities while gaining a greater understanding of the purpose and benefits of a local data team, considerations for membership, and team functions. We will also explore strategies for addressing some of the common challenges that teams may face and introduce participants to the IDC Data Meeting Toolkit. Participants will also take away essential elements of building a local data team and tools for meeting preparation, facilitation, and follow-up that can lead to more impactful data-based decisions.
