This project addresses inconsistencies in Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFPs) by developing a standardized districtwide protocol for analyzing student data and aligning it to measurable IEP goals. Through systemic leadership and targeted professional development, the initiative builds educator capacity, ensures compliance with IDEA and TEA requirements, and strengthens IEP quality. By embedding this protocol into professional practice, the work advances equity, promotes consistency across campuses, and ensures students with disabilities receive high-quality, measurable goals that directly support their growth and achievement.
