Even though Section 504 and its educational regulations have been around for almost 50 years, there is still much confusion and lack of clarity as to the educational responsibilities that school districts have regarding obligations to identify, evaluate, and provide educational services to the “504-only” student.  This presentation will address frequently asked questions regarding 504’s requirements from referral to placement and update the audience on any changes made, to date, by the current administration relative to these requirements.
