Imagine a future where every student is empowered to succeed in the workforce. Discover how Project LIFE makes that vision a reality! It is no secret that the development of independence and soft skills is crucial for long-term employment success, yet many educators find it challenging to implement effective and engaging strategies to accomplish this for students with disabilities. Led by educators from Project LIFE, this session will offer practical tools and evidence-based methods to improve communication, professionalism, and soft skills for students with mild to significant disabilities. A comprehensive curriculum focused on 21st-century workplace readiness skills and authentic job training experiences will be highlighted to promote greater independence and confidence in work, home, and community settings.
