Instructional Excellence: Achieving Success
This session is designed to support educational leaders to empower special education teachers by providing practical strategies for integrating language comprehension with inquiry-based learning across all content areas, including science, math, language arts, and social studies. The session will equip leaders with what they need to provide educators with the tools and confidence to create inclusive, dynamic learning environments where all students, regardless of ability, are encouraged to think critically, collaborate, and engage in authentic opportunities for discussion and problem-solving. Through a combination of the presenters’ current participation action research, interactive discussions, and hands-on activities, leaders will leave with what they need to give educators to help increase their self-efficacy in their ability to promote inclusivity, enhance student participation, and prepare all learners—particularly those with disabilities—to participate meaningfully in real-world contexts.
