CASE Conf 2025

An Administrators Guide to Mathematics MTSS and Evidence-Based Instruction (Room 206 B second floor)

All students deserve access to high-quality, effective mathematics instruction. This presentation is part of the DLD @ CASE series and shares current information about mathematics instruction for students with learning disabilities (LD), difficulties, and challenges. The presenters provide an overview of what science tells us about how students learn math, describes difficulties students with LD encounter, and provides actionable items administrators can take to support teachers and students. Presenters identify evidence-based instructional practices and share practical information (e.g., how to develop quality math IEP goals) and resources (e.g., IES practice guides) that educational leaders can take back to their districts.
