Join the journey of an experienced administrator and a dedicated teacher as they share Arkansas’s path toward creating inclusive environments, where all students are supported to reach their full potential. This session explores inclusive learning environments where students with disabilities access and engage with the general education curriculum, their peers, and their classroom. It discusses the importance of inclusive practices, barriers to success, and the methods used to overcome them. Strategies to identify individualized accommodations and the integration of assistive technology to meet individual needs are included. Insights from both administrator and teacher perspectives offer a comprehensive look at what works, what doesn’t, and how collaboration empowers them to create effective changes to meet student needs.
