1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Tracks: Educational Leadership: Leading with Purpose

This presentation will explore strategies for creating sustainable and efficient special education administrative systems by automating key processes (utilizing form builders) such as transportation management, suspension tracking, and eligibility timelines. We will discuss the development of data tracking systems that align with SDE reports surrounding the 14 IDEA Indicators, enabling administrators to identify negative trends, implement real-time course corrections, and make informed decisions based on current data. Additionally, we will examine the importance of a robust IEP monitoring system to ensure compliance and legally defensible IEPs,. The session will highlight the role of high-quality professional development in equipping educators with the skills needed for effective progress monitoring, and delivering research-based instruction. By integrating automation, data-driven decision-making, and targeted professional learning, this presentation will provide a comprehensive approach to enhancing accountability, improving student outcomes, and building a sustainable framework for special education administration.
