Engaging Secondary Students in Dyslexia Intervention: Lessons Learned (Room 208 A second floor)

The Center for Dyslexia at Scottish Rite for Children trained a group of high school teachers in a dyslexia intervention designed for specifically for high school students and supported their teaching throughout the school year. During this session we will explore our lessons learned from providing dyslexia therapy to high school students in a large urban school district. We’ll discuss the strategies we found that worked well with adolescent learners and the feedback we received from the dyslexia interventionists.
