This session explores the critical role paraprofessionals play in K-12 education and how the Bellefonte Area School District in Pennsylvania addressed challenges in recruitment and retention through a redesigned induction program. Attendees will gain insight into a quantitative study that examines the program's impact on paraprofessional confidence, skills, and job satisfaction, as well as its effect on teacher perceptions and retention rates.
