The discussion will focus on current renewable energy policy trends and project structures that real estate owners should be aware of. We will start by discussing onsite renewable deal structures that are favorable for various asset types. We will highlight the most active solar markets and what is driving activity within these markets. Afterwards, we will discuss recent trends to national & state renewable policies that drive the adoption of onsite renewables. The panel will be moderated by Black Bear Energy, an owner’s representative for institutional property owners who has managed 400 MWs of solar procurements over the past 24 months. The discussion will be supported by policy experts who can elaborate on the trends they are seeing in the market, ie solar requirements for development, EV charging infrastructure requirements, and tenant demand. After the panel, audience members will be informed and comfortable discussing potential solar options for their companies and properties.
