Gary Davenport, Ph.D., companion animal technical manager, ADM, shares consumer research findings regarding the perceptions of today's pet parents toward ingredients such as soy, corn and wheat as it relates to the need for alternative proteins within the petfood industry. The change in consumer attitudes toward ingredients, like soy, is not surprising based on the changing demographics of today’s pet parents.
