Qualified vs. Unqualified: Who is Getting Hurt? (Room Virtual)

Understanding the risks of electrical incidents and human factors involved and is imperative in keeping workers safe. This session will review electrical fatalities reported to OSHA between 2011 and 2019 to identify the occupations with the largest number of electrical fatalities. We will discuss the human factors involved in the fatalities of non-electrical workers vs electrical workers, review incidents of overhead power line contact and the importance of general electrical workplace safety in non-electrical occupations.
