Quantifying and Reducing Time Spent on Materials ‘Outside of the Gate’ (Room 205)

Project Managers, Foremen and Superintendents spend a good portion of their valuable time in the management of materials. That time could be used to manage complex projects more effectively or take on additional projects. This session will identify key areas of time spent on materials not yet on the jobsite, discuss how that time is often spent, identify strategies to reduce or move that effort and then discuss impacts of those improvements. This will be an interactive panel session with an overview segment, contractor panelists who will discuss their experiences, and questions from the classroom. Documentation from our work will be provided to assist delegates as they return to their businesses.
