One of the most pressing issues in the fabrication industry is the lack of young people entering the industry. The industry is evolving so rapidly into such a highly technological arena, and all types of businesses in the industry have a common and incredibly significant concern - finding young people to grow and continue the business. Businesses recognize that younger generations are the solution to many business issues and developments, but are for the most part stagnant on taking any action towards solutions. I believe there are a few root causes of this problem, and plan to address perceptions on the side of current industry players as well as the younger generations we all want to attract.
