Before You Spend Money On Your First Robot, Here Is What You Need To Know
We will start by explaining some of the basic terminology in robotics, from joints to EOAT. We will also discuss the difference between Robot and Cabot, and review and identify safety concerns. We explain the criticality of knowing which processes or operations are ideal for robotics. We will lay out the process of how to develop a project plan, from cost estimation, selecting the right partners, implementation, operation and maintenance. You will leave with an understanding of how to start your journey as well as making it successful and ensuring a ROI.

Automation Adoption: Why Manufacturers Won’t Survive Without Robotics
Even with “automation” and “robotics” plastered everywhere around us, why have some manufactures chosen to not adopt some sort of automation, especially post-pandemic? Some erroneous barriers may have caused adoption hesitation. But there's a lot of factors to consider in our current and future competitive and industrial landscape when choosing to adopt--or not adopt--automation. In this presentation, we will look at the advantages of automation in different industries while looking at business and market factors such as: automation adoption rates in different industries and countries; cost, duties, and quality control of outsourcing; competitive landscape; effects of automation on jobs; and generational labor fall off. We will also look at what it takes to adopt automation, and what the real barriers to entry may include i.e. what types of automation exist for different applications; capital expenditure and return on investment; training requirements; and service and maintenance requirements.
