One of the most-often litigated OSHA citations among contractors, the Multi-Employer Worksite Doctrine is a tool used by OSHA compliance safety and health officers to cite multiple contractors for a single violation. In this session, we’ll discuss how the Multi-Employer Worksite Doctrine is designed to allow OSHA to pursue penalties against not only the offending contractor on a project, but also the hiring contractor, any exposed subcontractors, and/or any supplies or distributors who may be present on site the day of the OSHA inspection.
