You can’t evaluate how safe your organization is until you can measure safety in a valid, reliable and useful way. This seminar will give you the skills necessary to comprehensively measure continuous improvement of your organization’s safety management system. You’ll learn safety measurement concepts, techniques and tools that will provide a framework for identifying and implementing a combination of reactive (lagging) and proactive (leading) safety measures. Hands-on activities will illustrate ways to extract the most from reactive measures using OSHA and ANSI Z16 recordkeeping techniques, control charts, quantitative benchmarking and costs.
