NECA is privileged to have the current president of NFPA speak to the NECA Safety Professionals this year. Jim is a part of the Electrical Section at NFPA and his leadership is key over the electrical NFPA documents as well as other standards that are developed for life safety. NFPA 3000TM (PS) Standard for an Active Shooter/Hostile Event Response (ASHER) Program is the newest public safety standard that has been developed to assist emergency response personnel and authorities having jurisdiction in preparing for this type of emergency.
