This breakout session will address the critical importance of protecting U.S. intellectual property – particularly information with national security applications – from adversaries. Panelists will identify sectors in which U.S. technology is especially vulnerable and discuss vulnerabilities of advanced research & development. They will also discuss how innovative technology can be developed and provided uncompromised, how evolving threats are communicated to pertinent parties, the effectiveness of the CFIUS process, and the impact of proposed legislative reforms.
