A well-known case study will share a lean transformation journey for the past six years. We will have two presenters sharing their experiences from implementing lean in production setting to a job shop setting. The attendees will see how a company successfully applied the lean body of knowledge to work areas that produce the parts every day to how the same body of knowledge can be applied to work areas that manufacture different product every day. One of the presenters will share experiences from going to a skeptic to a full believer and implementer of these tools. He will share how his leadership style has changed over the years to engage and get most out of his employees. The other speaker will share his experiences from being the teacher and coach during this journey.
