Parts Cleaning - Go Lean & Green with New Technology!
Vacuum degreasing technology is leading the way to replace older generation solvent cleaning systems as well as some alternate aqueous cleaning processes. Today's new vacuum degreasing equipment is designed to offer a wide variety of cleaning applications in one central piece of equipment using one chemical cleaning agent for all soils and processes.

Biological Wastewater Treatment for the Metal Finishing World
Discharge permits are focusing more on Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and nutrient removal than metal removal. With this trend, we can no longer focus on just meeting the metal removal requirements. We must now focus on how to continue to meet the metal removal requirements while also meeting new BOD and nutrient removal requirements. These amazing creatures live to eat what we no longer find desirable in water. Special blends of bacteria can consume enough phosphorus to make it non-detectable in testing. While they do this, they also consume nitrogen and BOD. What types of bacteria can do this? What are their needs to stay healthy and alive long enough to do their job for us? How can an industrial manufacturer, whose water is often deadly to bacteria, utilize them in small tight spaces? This session will explore these questions, see photos of healthy bacteria, and discuss how to utilize them for your needs.

Zero Discharge for Spray Washers
This presentation will discuss low cost zero effluent discharge set up and operation of paint pretreatment spray washers. A common problem facing manufactures using metal and surfacing finishing conversion coating processes today is the need to consider the expense and effluent discharge liabilities of the process water. A proven approach combining innovative chemistry with related equipment allows users to eliminate all process water discharge from their spray washers. This process has enabled users to eliminate waste water permitting, notice of effluent violations, and related cost associated with excessive water usage. The process integrates high- quality performance, simplicity of operation, and minimal operational cost. Two case studies including both powder paint and ecoat applications will be discussed.
