Acceleration is one of the most effective research-based interventions for highly gifted learners. In this session, myths about acceleration will be dispelled, and tips for navigating the process in elementary and middle schools will be shared. Come learn how to determine whether acceleration is right for your child, what steps to take, and how to plan a successful transition. In this interactive session, Dr. Guilbault will share her experiences with acceleration as a parent, a school administrator, and as a university professor.
