Money, Mayhem, Motive, Murder: You Be the Investigator. Who Killed Kaitlyn Arquette? (Room JW Grand Ballroom 7)

Kaitlyn Arquette died in 1989 when she was 18. Two bullets ripped into her brain in what Albuquerque police deemed to be a “random drive-by shooting.” Kait's mother, Lois Duncan Arquette, has held the top spot on Cookie's all time personal “heroes list” since their initial meeting in 1994. Lois authored Who Killed My Daughter and One to the Wolves and was the subject of TV coverage by Good Morning America, Larry King Live, Connie Chung on CBS News, Sally Jesse Raphael, Inside Edition, Dateline, and many more. Stories also appeared in People magazine, Woman’s Day, and others. Lois fought for the truth for 37 years – until the day she died in 2016. She never gave up. This nearly four-decades-long journey for answers has been one of organized crime, death threats, historical secrets, police corruption, and worse. It’s the file that never quits. Kait’s father and siblings continue to seek justice. Today this podium is shared by Kerry Arquette, Kait’s sister, as this haunting case is brought to a Mensa audience. The hope is that one of you will contribute a question, an answer, or see a pathway somehow overlooked by hundreds of seasoned investigators and a readership/viewership of more than 100 million.
