When Ghosts Talk: 'War Cries: Unheard Voices, Unmarked Graves' (Room JW Grand Ballroom 2)

06 Jul 18
4:30 PM - 5:45 PM

Tracks: Speaker

Speaker(s): Kerry Arquette
More than 70 years after the end of World War II, author Kerry Arquette sat down at her computer, closed her eyes, and waited ... and the voices came. By the time War Cries: Unheard Voices, Unmarked Graves was completed, 99 men, women, and children whose lives had been changed forever or lost during WWII in Europe had reached out to tell their stories. German soldiers, Jews, children in hiding, resistance fighters, mothers, fathers, gypsies, homosexuals, a rabbi, a priest, civilian martyrs, a British school boy, and many others spoke about their experiences. In this session, Arquette will deliver a glimpse into the Holocaust in a way that has never been done before. The sheer creative genius of this author/artist will simultaneously stun, amaze, and educate you. This is a session not to be missed. For more information, visit artistkerryarquette.com.
