This course will explore the topic of landscape establishment and performance. How do we define performance and how can we optimize performance after transplant? The course will discuss the importance of proper installation and tree quality as two critical factors affecting landscape success. We will discuss how to optimize performance by looking at best management practices for large tree installation and production. Attendees will learn about installation best practice, tree selection best practices, the importance of root systems and advanced nursery practices for producing high quality root systems.
