C169 | Dynamic Readerspaces: Creating a Connected Community of Readers (Room NORTH 220D)

Readerspace is a dynamic and interactive space for students to read, connect over their favorite books, and explore new literacy options. We create spaces within the library/learning commons that encourage reading as well as utilize a variety of digital tools and programs to create a connected community of readers. From class book tastings to video book talks on morning announcements to online book clubs, our elementary schools are creating a new level of reading excitement! Students actively share digital books talks as well as publish their own stories using apps such as Book Creator, iMovie, Draw and Tell, and Google Slides. See how we are supercharging student literacy within our Dynamic Readerspace!
