This presentation focuses on the megatrend of making our production and research E-beam vacuum systems smarter with every iteration. To aid in that transformation, components (which include vacuum equipment) that connect to the smart controls of the integrated e-beam system need to be smarter as well to provide more data and control to the PLC. The desired end result is to have systems that operate more efficiently, provide better yields, have higher throughput, and minimal down time.
