People have been making mistakes for years, so most traditional safety efforts have focused on minimizing the consequences of injury causing errors. This has been effective – up to a point. Everyday injuries such as slips, trips, falls, strains and sprains still occur. In this session, we’ll look at injury prevention from the other side of the coin: preventing the injury causing error in the first place. While “to err is human,” there are ways to efficiently minimize the errors people make that cause injuries.
