This session is lead by a Wonder League Robotics Team coach, who led a team of students to place in the top 5 in the 2017 international competition. We will introduce a couple of adorable robots named Dash and Dot, that are programmed through computer coding. Dash and Dot introduce students to coding in a fun, easy to grasp manner using the Make Wonder suite of apps. They ignite curiosity and confidence as they teach the skills of collaboration, communication, and digital literacy. Participants will interact with Dash and Dot, while exploring classroom implications to meet STEM objectives. This workshop will exhibit actual classroom use of the Make Wonder curriculum, as well as teacher created lesson plans and challenges.
