The class begins with a review of past practices and approaches that have been effectively used to address firefighter and EMS personnel’s addiction and mental health issues. It then progresses to the more proactive and effective approaches now available to assist these fire service members, such as the therapeutic techniques and methodologies being implemented on the Florian unit.
