As the pool of available addresses in the existing Internet Protocol, IPv4, run out, IPv6 is well on it’s way to becoming the new worldwide standard for communications on the Internet. This session will highlight the major differences in the IP protocol introduced by IPv6, as well as brief discussions of deployment experience. Topics covered will include a briefing on new features and functionality of IPv6, the new address format of IPv6, security concerns and best practices
