GNH (Gross National Happiness) is alive and well in Bhutan! Nestled at the eastern end of the Himalayas, it has allowed foreigner visitors since only 1974. Today it restricts visitors to pre-paid short-term guided tours, requires all citizens to wear the national dress in public areas, and is the first nation in the world to ban smoking. What views!
